Renault India has announced that all-new Triber (codenamed as RBC) will make its world premiere on June 19, 2019 in the country. Renault Triber has been on testing mode for quite a long time and it has been spotted on multiple occasions wearing camouflage, however revealing a few design elements. Also, the company has started teasing the all-new vehicle and on the basis of that it is certain that Triber will feature new LED headlamps with daytime running lights (DRLs), a V-shaped front grille with chrome accents and front bumper with chrome inserts. Being based on the modified version of Kwid's CMF-A architecture, Renault Triber will feature dual-tone interior theme while borrowing several components from the Captur. It is also expected to feature a large (more than 7.0-inch as seen on every Renault car) touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
As far as safety is concerned, Renault Triber will come loaded with features such as Dual front airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Rear parking sensors and Speed warning system as standard. The top-end trims are also expected to feature reverse camera and more airbags. Mechanically, the Triber is believed to be launching with just a petrol engine. Speculations are rife that it might feature Kwid's 1.0L engine with a subtle bump in power output. It could have a top power of 75bhp which is nearly 7bhp more than the Kwid. The engine would be linked to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard while the 5-speed AMT gearbox could be introduced at a later stage.
