All-New Triumph Tiger 800 Launched at Rs. 11.76 Lakhs

Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the all-new Tiger 800 at an introductory price of Rs. 11.76 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom) in the country. The motorcycle has been introduced in three variants: XR, XRx and XCx. Triumph Tiger 800 come with more than 200 upgrades to the chassis and engine, while boasting of several cosmetic updates as well. The company has a dealership network in 15 cities across the country and an unmatched portfolio of several different motorcycle models across five premium categories.

Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. commented “To deliver the best of Triumph, we here have been working on our engineering and technology to upgrade the capability of the Tiger 800 line-up for versatility on and off-road. These developments compliment the Tiger's agility, its easy riding style, as well as its existing distinctive Tiger poise - the new 800 line-up is built for maximum adventure, maximum dominance.” Speaking of the all-new Triumph Tiger 800, it comes with new signature LED lighting, new illuminated, ergonomically designed, backlit switchgear and five-way joystick control, updated cruise control, and New 5-inch adjustable full colour TFT instrument cluster.

Mr Sumbly further added - “Triumph as a brand is recognised not just for its iconic ancestry but also for the uncompromised premium riding experience that it offers. This combination gives the brand a sure-fire edge in its category and the Tiger range is here to do the same.“ Triumph Tiger 800 flaunts new premium bodywork with high quality badges, graphics and detailing, while being offered in new colors with more contemporary and dynamic stance. The five-way adjustable wind screen and aero diffusers are also a part of standard fitment. The braking duties are done by Brembo brakes at the front. The motorcycle also gets a “Off-Road Pro” riding mode with a choice of up to six riding modes.

Mechanically, the all-new Triumph Tiger 800 boasts of a more responsive and optimised Triple engine with new shorter Ratio for the 1st Gear which enables nhanced off-road traction, low-speed manoeuvrability and acceleration. There is a new lighter and free-flowing silencer with improved exhaust note. Below is the variant-wise price (Ex. Showroom) of Triumph Tiger 800:
