Indian motorcycle market is slowly changing and accepting every other form of motorcycles not just racing or naked bikes that have dominated Indian market ever since. With the launch for new Adventurer Sport Pulsars from Bajaj Auto, it is out loud that Indian Motorcycle market is now expanding and is ready to play with anything and everything.
While the orange team, KTM is offering only the naked and racing segment motorcycles in India, they have a very wide variety of motorcycles on sale for the international market. From Supermoto to Dirt or Adventure, the orange team serves all categories of motorcycles in every segment. The data from an import-export website suggest that another KTM Super Adventure 1290 has been imported to India straight from Austria. For present it is unsure that the import is a private one or KTM India has imported the Super Adventure for Research and Development purposes. The Super Adventure utilizes a 1301cc liquid-cooled, twin cylinder, 4-stroke, 75 degree V-twin engine that churns out crazy 160bhp and 150 Nm of torque. Though there are no signs that if KTM is serious about launching the Super Adventure in India or not but there are very few competitors of the Super Adventure present in Indian market. With the number of riders going for the roads less travelled increasing drastically in India, as we see it there is a very vast opportunity for Adventure bikes in Indian market.
