Apollo marks its presence in two-wheeler market with the launch of Apollo Acti tyre series

The Gurgaon headquartered tyre manufacturer, Apollo tyre, launched their first ever two-wheeler tyre series, known as Apollo Acti in India. Till date the company has only been dealing in tyres for two-wheelers but now they will also sell two-wheelers tyres as well. The Apollo Acti series is designed and developed at the company’s Global R&D Centre which is located in Chennai.

Commenting on the development, Onkar S Kanwar, Chairman, Apollo Tyres Ltd said, “This is a milestone for Apollo Tyres as the entry into the two-wheeler segment makes the company a full-range player. The presence in the two-wheeler segment will help the company cement its leadership position in India. The Apollo Acti series will provide the best value proposition to our customers along with an enjoyable driving experience.”

The company says, these tyres delivers exceptional grip levels irrespective of the riding condition and also these are designed to have excellent cornering abilities which makes them one of the most safest tyres available for commuter segment two-wheelers in India. These tyres comprises of new age polymers-based high mileage tread compound and comes with tubeless as well as tube type tyres having stress free casing structure. The newly introduced two-wheeler tyre range is now already available at Apollo authorised business partners across the country.
