Aprilia SR Motard 125 spotted; might launch in India
Snapshot: Aprili SR motard 125 is brought in India for testing purpose
Aprilia is all set to introduce its first 150cc scooter- the SR 150 with a price tag of RS 65,000 (ex-showroom) in Indian two wheeler market. It looks like the Italian manufacturer is also planning to explore the scooter market in the country. Recently, SR Motorad 125cc scooter was spotted at Vespa dealership in Bengaluru.
Visually, it looks very similar to its 150cc sibling, the only difference being the sticker on the right side of its plastic body. Other notable highlights are headlamps mounted inside its body panel, dual toned graphics, telescopic hydraulic forks and large black 14” wheel with 5 double spoke alloy wheels. In the heart, it has a 124cc, single cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine that is powerful enough to produce 9.46 bhp at 8500 rpm along with a peak torque of 8.2Nm of torque.
As per reports, the SR125 is brought by the Company for R&D purpose, so it is too soon to speculate if Aprilia is really going to bring this 125cc scooter in India. But if they do and that too with an affordable price tag, the new SR-125 will definitely grab the eyeballs of brand conscious Indian buyers.
