British extravagance Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) architect Land Rover’s facility in Solihull England congregated an expedition called ‘around the world in 80 days’ that featured 16 various Land Rover automobiles from Hong Kong, China. These 16 cars arrived in the United Kingdom on the 15th of July, after arriving onto home soil, they made a pilgrimage to Lode Lane, Solihull which was the birthplace of those cars.
All the 16 cars were driven by the respected owners of the car, who are members of the prestigious Land Rover Club of Hong Kong. In this expedition, they will be trying to triumph over the earth in 80 days. This is a 4 month journey that began on the 9th of June, since then has covered more than 15,000 kilometers. The drivers had to go through severe weather conditions and road conditions alike. From their journey which has gone through China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France before burning rubber on their way back to the origin the Solihull facility, United Kingdom. When the 40 all world voyagers return to the factory, they were given a full fledged tour of the facility and a VIP access to the new Handover Center.
After everything was said and done, the cars and the drivers left for London, for a little rejuvenation. Since they have to start again very soon, on the next long voyage back to France. Where they begin their next challenge through Southern Europe and North Africa. After they revisit Europe, at the end of this month, numerous Rovers will be grafted back to China, and some to Halifax, Canada. These cars will carry on their trip, travelling through North America, passing through New York and Washington DC, prior to going west, where they will split through Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Again they will turn north and head towards Vancouver, from where they will be booted to Tinjan, China. After arriving in Tinjan they will continue their long voyage through Wuzhou, and have a little pause at the Chinese land Rover Experience center newly opened there. At the very end, the drivers will stopover at Shanghai just prior to planning their return back to Hong Kong on the 24th of September.
