Nissan Motors India Ltd has appointed on Arun Malhotra as the new Managing Director for Nissan's India operations. Arun Malhotra will report to Guillaume Sicard, President- Nissan India Operations, who himself was appointed in his new role just few days back. Arun Malhotra served Mahindra & Mahindra as the chief of International Sales and Marketing for the automotive and farm sector, prior to this role.

In his new role, Mr. Malhotra will look after the business development by generating strategies to maximize Nissan's overall performance, managing product introduction and significantly increasing the presence and accessibility of the Nissan and Datsun brands through continuing network expansion.

Guillaume Sicard, President - Nissan India Operations, on the appointment of Malhotra said, "Arun Malhotra has a consistent record of high performance and extensive experience in automotive sales, service, and marketing in India. I am happy to have a seasoned leader like him join us to accelerate Nissan's progress in a dynamic market like India."

Malhotra is a Mechanical Engineer and did his MBA from the prestigious IIM Kolkata. His career spans over 30 years, with experience of performing various roles in the Automotive industry. Malhotra has worked in different functions of sales, service, network expansion & development, brand building and customer centric initiatives in organizations including Bajaj Auto, and Maruti Suzuki.
