Aston Martin, the ultra-luxury sports car maker has finally launched the DB11 supercar at a jolting price of Rs. 4.27 Crores (Ex showroom) in India. Recently, the DB11 super car was showcased to its prospective buyers at a private event held in Delhi. It has been learnt that eight bookings have already been made for the model and the car also made its premiere in Mumbai, a couple of days back. Reportedly, the supercar will also show its presence in other cities such as Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai.
Deliveries of the Aston Martin DB11 will commence from early 2017 in the country. The production of the car has already commenced at Aston Martin’s Gaydon facility in Warwickshire, England. To be imported as a CBU, it will replace the DB9 model and is being billed most powerful, efficient and dynamic DB version till date in the history of Aston Martin.
The DB11 gets company’s design language which is way ahead of the DB9 model featuring C-shaped LED tail-lights and twin-quad exhausts, while inside it boasts of elegant and sporty feel with a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and park assist system with a 360-degree bird's eye camera as standard features.
Interesting part comes under the hood, Aston Martin DB11 is power packed with an all-new 5.2L twin turbocharged V12 engine, capable to develop an impressive 600 bhp of maximum power with 700 Nm of top spin. The powertrain comes coupled to a 8-speed automatic transmission, sourced by ZF. It can bolt to 100 kmph from a standstill in a mere 3.9 seconds before hitting a tops of 322 kmph. The DB11 can show off this top speed in three drive modes - GT, Sport and Sport Plus.
Aston Martin DB11 comes under the company's 'Second Century' plan that aims to maximize the it's reach in other new international markets launching fresh products.
