In yet another tragic incident, a Rs 3 crore worth Aston Martin Vantage S has been wrecked by its owner in the capital of India, New Delhi. The incident took place near the Italian Embassy in Chankyapuri on Sunday evening, when the owner of the car rammed it on a tree, leaving the car completely damaged from the front.
According to the owner, the incident took place when he was trying to save a dog, that ended up in a disaster. Luckily, neither the people in the car, nor anyone outside was hurt during the incident and hence no police FIR was registered. Various eyewitnesses have given that statement that the driver was passing through the Chandragupta Marg and was saving the dog.
To give our readers and insight, the Aston Martin Vantage S is powered by a V8 4735cc engine that can push the car upto a speed of 300kmph. And, since the car hit the tree from the front, both the bonnet and the front grille were heavily damaged. A special crane was deputed for the to remove the sportscar from the scene.
This incident reminds us of many such incidences in the past where cars costing crores are damaged in accidents. And such fast and powerful vehicles need experience and driving training. Also, if someone has that knack to push the throttle, our city roads are not the best around. One should always go to a track to test the limits.
