Audi Exclusive reveals one-off customized RS6 Avant

Snapshot: Audi Exclusive is a bespoke customization program that offers factory-installed enhancements for vehicles across the automaker’s line, and adding to the list is the recently unveiled RS6 Avant.

The increasing buying power of individuals is directly proportional to the taste in automobiles, we can say! So much so is the demand of a customized car, that almost every luxury car company has started their own customization program, to cater to the need of such individuals. And Audi is no different! Audi Exclusive is a bespoke customization program that offers factory-installed enhancements for vehicles across the automaker’s line, and adding to the list is the recently unveiled RS6 Avant.

While the original RS6 Avant is merely a station-wagon from this German luxury car manufacturer, this one-off customized version is a completely different avatar. The customized Avant is a mean yet sporty looking people carrier meant for Europe only. Upset? India hardly gets any station wagon here, rather MPVs are more prominent people movers here.

On the exterior front, the Audi RS6 Avant gets an exclusive matte gray custom color along with other aggressive styling enhancements featured inside and out. One can see a bold ‘Quattro’ grill badge with carbon fiber surround, carbon fiber mirrors, and carbon fibre grill accents. The Avant also fits slick black alloys. Inside the cabin there’s more glossy polymer weave, as well as trick yellow stitching on the seats and dash.

Speaking of the performance, the engine lineup will be the same as the standard version. The RS6 Avant will get a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 unit that is capable of producing 553 hp of power 700 Nm of torque. This five-door estate can run from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.9 seconds, with room in the back for the family. Top speed is a limited 290 kmph.

The regular RS6 Avant costs around $120,000 in the UK, hence this sportier version will undoubtedly cost more and yes, it is not coming to India!
