The actual meaning of DTM was Duestsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, which translates to ‘German Touring Car Championships’ in English. These events were born in the year 1984 and was alive till 1996. After that because of some internal disagreements the episode died down. But in the year 2000 it was reincarnated as the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters which is nothing but German Touring Car Masters.

The last one race will be held in Moscow, Russia for the first time ever on 2th of August which will go on for two days. This last race was scheduled in Moscow to promote the DTM proceedings in Russia.
