While BMW and Porsche are readying their new crossovers, X4 and Macan, Audi is also now joining the game and has just released a teaser for its new high-on-ground concept. The new concept is said to make its debut at the Beijing Motor Show, later this month and, interestingly, rumored to be the Audi Q4. However, the concept has only artistic impression of the new creation without any realistic design cues incorporated in it. This may not be concrete enough for most but it is enough to create a flutter amongst SUV aficionados.
The new concept is a four-door vehicle, which looks slightly similar to the Audi's Shooting brake concept but modernized with the company's current design language. While the iconic trapezoidal grille seems taken from the recently unveiled new-generation TT sports car, its dimensions seems fairly larger than the Q3. As in the past, company officials are tight-lipped but it is clear that the upcoming new car will slot in above the Q3 but below the Q5. Watch this space for more details.
