The current generation Audi A4 received a facelift good folks at Audi has already started working on a new generation A4 saloon, which will get unveiled in 2015. The new Audi A4 has already started going around the track and is getting tested.
The current generation is based on the Volkswagen MLB platform, which is also used by many other Audi models and sister companies like Porsche. The next generation Audi A4 has received styling inputs from the Audi boss Wolfgang Egger himself and the next generation car will carry one of the most improved and long feature list.
The next generation Audi A4 will have features which will set it apart from the other cars like the 3D-effect single-frame grille, new style trapezoidal LED headlamps, and bumpers with more prominent crease and deeper creases running all along the car making it more elegant. The Audi A4 will also feature sharp and beautifully crafted creases, while the dimensions will stay the same.
The 2015 Audi A4 is internally codenamed as B9, and will become the first conventional steel monocoque model carrying the Audi badge to use the group’s MLB platform. A4 is the one of the most selling Audi in the world and with performance changes, Audi will attract more buyers from around the world for sure. With the new car, the weight can get dropped by as much as 100 kilos.
The 2015 Audi A4 is not expected to receive any engine changes and will more or less will be powered by the same engine with some tweaks to generate more power. Stay tuned as we bring more updates!
