The Component Exhibition will be held separately at Pragati Maidan.
The Auto Expo 2020 will witness some prominent launches and unveilings.
Dates for Asia’s largest and world’s second-largest motoring show, the Auto Expo, have been announced. The 15th edition of the biennial event will be held in Great Noida, at the India Expo Mart from February 7, 2020, to February 12, 2020.
While the dates for the biennial event are out, the list of manufacturers participating in the event has not been confirmed yet. That said, most of the auto giants (including four-wheeler and two-wheeler manufacturers) are expected to participate in the event, albeit, several big names could go missing this time considering the snail-paced growth in the market. Moreover, the cost of participation is high, and hence some of the auto giants could choose to miss the biennial event.
Prominent names in the automobile fraternity such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Mahindra, Kia, Skoda, Volkswagen and Tata Motors are likely to show up at the motoring show. A separate show for the component exhibition will be held at Pragati Maidan, in New Delhi from February 6, 2020, to February 9, 2020. The first two days of the event will be for media and special invitees, while it will be open for the general public from 9th onwards between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Asia’s largest motoring event is being organized by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) and Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA). The event will witness several unveilings and launches of some of the eagerly awaited models and auto giants will also bring forth the latest in-car technology that could be seen in future vehicles. Car giants could also use the platform to introduce their upcoming electric vehicles and futuristic concepts.
