The first Indian production chopper motorcycle company, Avantura Choppers have recently announced the launch of two of its bikes, the Pravega and Rudra. The base motorcycle model, Pravega has been priced at whopping Rs 21.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), whereas Rudra is priced slightly higher at Rs 23.9 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The company has planned to make its official debut at the upcoming India Bike Week, the biggest bike festival in India.
All the products from the company are made-to-order and are ARAI certified. The bikes have been built from all the premium imported parts and equipment. The bikes run on a 2000cc V-Twin engine made by the American brand, S&S engines. The bikes are equipped with premium fitments such Beringer brake setup, Primo suspension, Mustang seats, Kellerman lights and Avon tires.
The Rudra chopper can accommodate 17-liter of fuel at once and weighs 344kg (kerb). While the Pravega features a 21-liter fuel tank and weighs 3kg more than the latter. Both the bikes are close to Tata Nano car in overall length as Rudra measures 2908mm in length and Pravega is a bit shorter at 2627mm.
The bike company aims at buyers who want exclusivity and don’t wanna go for the mainstream brands like Harley-Davidson or Triumph Motorcycles. Stay tuned as we bring you more news like this from the auto industry.
