As per reports, at a recent event, Mr. Eric Vas, who is the President of Motorcycle Business for Bajaj Auto, has said that the Pune based motorcycle manufacturing behemoth has plans to have another Pulsar launch during the June-July period. We reckon, that this new Pulsar lined up for mid-2015 could well be the 150NS, which has been spied a number of times throughout this year.
When launched, the 150NS would become Bajaj Auto's fourth new Pulsar model launch this year after the successful launch of the widely appreciated RS200, and fairly promising AS200 and AS150. It is interesting to note that that Bajaj Auto will use the Pulsar 200NS platform for the 150NS, just like the AS150 that comes with the perimeter frame platform, which is modern and lightweight.
Expect the same engine from the AS150 to power the Bajaj Pulsar 150NS. The engine is 149.5 cc single-cylinder, twin-spark DTS-i engine while being capable of making 17 PS and 13 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 5-speed transmission on the Adventure Sport. To keep costs in check, the 150NS will do without ABS and a rear disc brake, and a projector headlight could also be deleted from the features list.
