The Pune based auto maker has just unveiled the new golden paint scheme on the Avenger 220 Cruise that will be offered alongside the existing divine black paint scheme. There has been no price hike for the new golden coloured Avenger 220 and it’s offered on the similar price as before. The new paint scheme glorifies the cruise character of the Avenger which is already a much known motorcycle when it comes to the Indian market.

Talking about the mechanicals it packs the same 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled 220cc DTS-i engine from the Pulsar 220 that churns out a healthy 19bhp of maximum power and 17Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission and has been tuned to deliver a better low-end and mid-range torque that proves to be fruitful for city rides.

Bajaj launched the new avatars of the Avenger brand sometime back and the bike was successful in attracting attention from the Indian crowd. The Avenger brand has been a great success as it sells more than 15,000 units per month. And now with the new paint scheme, the company plans to further expand its shares in the cruiser segment. Stay tuned to Bikeportal and share your views on the new golden paint scheme in the comment section below.
