Bajaj Auto records 30 per cent growth
Snapshot: The CT 100 and the face lift Avengers has really done it for Bajaj Auto.
The Pune based auto maker, Bajaj Auto, has recorded an over-all growth of around 30 per cent since February of 2015. This slew in figures is a result of the introduction of facelift Avengers and also re-launch of Bajaj CT100 which the company introduced after almost 9 years of gap. Also Bajaj Auto is tremendously increasing its international market reach and hence more than 50 per cent of Bajaj’s sales figures is a result of exports.
After its launch last year, Bajaj CT100 2015 became one of the best-selling motorcycles for Bajaj Auto and interestingly the company sold almost 43,000 units for February this year. We can’t deny the fact that Bajaj targeted a sweet spot in Indian commuter motorcycle market by launching its trusted brand CT 100 again and hence the motorcycle received such a tremendous response. Other than that, also the face lift Avengers were well praised for all the small and big updates they have received over the last generation models. Also the brand launched its cult cruiser in a smaller engine capacity option which made the bike more accessible for a larger group of people in India and abroad.
Bajaj Auto will also be coming up with their new and biggest capacity offering till date, the Pulsar CS 400, this year. We expect it to be priced near Rs1.8 Lakh. Stay tuned for more updates!
