Few days ago we came across a nasty post on Facebook stating “Did you know? 50% people who have bought Duke is no longer with us.” It clearly was a hideous act from whoever tried to harm the image of the brand by making such a post. Posts like these are clearly made by lunatics and spread by fools. And looks like the Pune based two-wheeler manufacturer has taken the case in their own hands to take serious action against the people guilty of this act. A complaint was filed with the Commissioner of Police, Pune for “Cyber Crime and Criminal Act of Defamation”, against people who uploaded and shared such a post over the social media. Names and Facebook profile links of the guilty were mentioned in the complaint.
A day ago “KTM-Ready to Race” page on Facebook uploaded the images below stating “Further to the issue brought to our notice on 17th Aug 2015 we have filed a police complaint against perpetrators of baseless and misleading rumors about KTM. A copy of the same is attached. Unless these baseless and misleading posts are removed we would be initiating further legal proceedings at cost and consequences to the offenders. We would like to thank KTM fans and customers who have done their part in dismissing these baseless and misleading rumors”.
We will recommend our readers not to trust in meaningless posts like these, KTM has a well renowned reputation of making performance machines without compromising the safety standards. KTM is one of the only brands which offers motorcycles with safety features such as ABS, slipper clutch and four-pot brake caliper disc brakes at an affordable price tag.
