It is confirmed now that Bajaj Auto will be launching the new 2016 Avenger models in a launch event scheduled on 27th this month. The new Avenger will be launched in two new models including a Street variant and a Cruise variant. Avenger will still be powered from the same 220cc engine and opposite to the speculations, it will not deploy the 200NS’s engine unit.

Both of the variants will be different in terms of looks, Avenger Street will not use a windscreen upfront like the cruise and will come with HD Street 750 inspired alloys and blacked out color scheme. On the other hand, Avenger Cruise will come with a lot of body chrome work.

Like we reported earlier, there is also a possibility that Bajaj Auto can come up with 150cc Avengers as well. Since there is no competition in the 150cc cruiser segment, it can surely churn out to be an advantage for the Pune based automobile manufacturer. Since the Diwali season is about to begin in the country, this certainly is an excellent time to introduce something like this in the Indian market. Stay tuned for more updates on the new Avengers!
