Bajaj Auto today launched two new Discovers - 150F and 150S - which, Bajaj claimed, have a fuel efficiency of 72kmpl. The earlier Discovers were available in 95cc and 124cc options. Bajaj has already dispatched both the new motorcycles to the dealerships across India. Earlier variants will also continue to be available at the Bajaj showrooms.
The Discover 150F will be the only commuter motorcycle in India to have a semi-fairing as a standard fitment. The 150S will share the looks with the early Discover and looks just fresh with the new graphics. The 144.8cc engine will churn out a maximum power of 14.5PS and 12.75Nm of torque with a top speed of 110kmph. Both the bikes will have telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The entry level 150S will have a 130mm drum brake at the front whereas the top level 150S and 150F will have a 240mm disc at the front. The rear end of the all the variants have a 130mm drum as a standard fitment. All the variants also come fitted with a digital meter, electric start, maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres.
