Bajaj Platina ComforTech launched in India; Price starts at 42,541

Bajaj Auto has silently launched Platina ComforTech in Indian two-wheeler market with a price tag of Rs 42,541 for base variant and for the electric start it is Rs 44,554 (ex-showroom, Delhi). According to the Company, the new Platina offers more comfort and lesser jerks when compared to its closest rival in the segment.
The most notable features of the new Bajaj Platina ComforTech is the 28 percent longer suspension at the front, while the rear gets 22 percent longer suspension to offer a more comfortable ride with 20 percent fewer jerks when compared to segment leader 100cc motorcycle which aided by spring soft seat and rubber footpads.
Powering its motor is a DTS-i 102cc engine that churns out a maximum power of 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 8.6Nm at 5,000 rpm. Its engine is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. Since this motorcycle belongs to commuter segment, Bajaj had also kept the maintenance to the lower side with 5000 km service interval and oil change requirement after 10,000 km. It also has the company claim fuel efficiency of 104 kmpl.
