Bajaj Auto is set to introduce a new 125cc Pulsar motorcycle in the Indian market. Unlike the Bajaj NS 125 which has been available in the global markets, the new Bajaj 125cc bike coming to India will be an entirely new offering with the Pulsar tag, as it is now officially confirmed.

However, there is no confirmation as of yet with regard to the exact mechanical specs to be included in the new Pulsar 125, but it is expected to carry similar underpinnings as in the NS 125 bike. The Bajaj NS 125 motorcycle is powered by a 125cc air-cooled, 4-valve, single-cylinder motor paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
The Bajaj NS 125cc engine produces 14bhp of max power at 9000rpm and 11.4Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. However, the India-spec Bajaj Pulsar 125 bike is expected to show a difference in numbers in terms of the power output and in comparison with figures claimed by the Bajaj NS 125 engine.
Bur for reference, you can consider the NS 125 engine’s power figures to be between that of the Bajaj Discover 125 which makes 11.5bhp of power and 11Nm of peak torque and Bajaj Pulsar 150 which claims 14.5bhp of max power and 13.4Nm of peak torque.
