The question in each and every motorcycle lover in the country has in his/her mind is about the launch date of the desperately awaited Bajaj Pulsar 200SS. With an eternally long wait and a zillion spy shots from all over the world, we, like you, are desperate to know, just when the Pune based companies first ever fully faired bike launch in the country.

The Pulsar 200SS was recently spotted at a dealership in Pune alongside the Pulsar 200 NS models that were there on display, suggesting that the dealer dispatch for the fully-faired version of the NS has started. The launch could be expected within a month’s time. The desperately (we crossed the eagerly level a long time ago)  awaited motorcycle was supposed to launched in the final quarter of 2014 had gotten delayed due to unknown reasons, while it was constantly seen in the wild undergoing testing, not just in India but in global markets of Bajaj too.

Rajiv Bajaj, Head of Bajaj Auto, in an interview with Moneycontrol.com, has confirmed that a new Pulsar will be launched within this quarter (which means by or before March 2015) in India pointing all hints at the Pulsar 200SS. However, like last time he, yet again said that this is the same Pulsar which ‘we have already shown‘. The Bajaj supremo also said that they intend to increase volumes of Pulsar brand from the current 65,000 to about Rs 75,000 units per month after the Pulsar 200SS. Rajiv Bajaj also said, that they have 4 new Pulsars planned for our markets, out of which two have already been showcased to the public at large. They plan to reach a market share of 24 per cent by the end of the year from their current 18-19 per cent market in the domestic market.

We hope we will be able to see the Pulsar 200SS finally coming to the showrooms sooner than later.
