Just yesterday we published a news talking about Mahindra's sales figures and doing well in a segment that is getting crowded day by day. It seems that the time ahead for Bajaj Auto is a challenging one. With Honda overtaking it to take the number two spot in two-wheelers segment, and its president of domestic unit for two-wheelers, Mr. K Srinivas quitting after a 14 year stint with the manufacturer, it seems to be a bumpy road ahead for Bajaj Auto. To make the situation worse for the mother brand, the commercial vehicles' sales dwindled as the no. of vehicles sold in April 2014 were 26% lesser than what was sold in April 2013 making the overall sales figures drop by 4% than last year's.

Snapshot: With 2,99,636 two-wheelers sold this April, which is 1,191 units less than what was sold in April last year, Bajaj Auto faces the heat because of the new aggressive players in the market
