Bajaj Auto has taken breath away with unveiling of its two new 400CC concepts at the Auto Expo India. The new models are showcased in form of Super Sports which is a fully-faired 400CC breathtaking looking motorcycle. While the latter is a cruiser concept christened as CS400. However, Bajaj has not shared any word related to the models launch but yes the production version are expected to be close to these prototypes.

The SS400 boasts of full fairing with dual projector head lamps, Clip-on handle bars, race-type muffler and overall compact dimensions makes it a much appealing motorcycle. Interestingly, the SS400 design seems hugely inspired from the BumbleBee. While, the tourer CS400 is more of like naked with single piece handle bar and seat that is undoubtedly more practical for the touring purpose.

Both the 400s are powered by mighty 375cc single-cylinder engine that is derived from its cousin, KTM Duke 390. However, the company has not revealed the exact specs of engine but we can expect it to be somewhere around 40 BHP. The SS400 is based on front telescopic and mono-shock suspension at rear, while the CS400 features the upside down forks but rear suspension is similar to SS400.

Bajaj has surprised everyone with showcasing of CS400 at the Expo. Both motorcycles look promising and being a Bajaj we can also expect a competitive price tag. However, the new 400s are not expected to reach out to Indian roads before the end of 2014.
