The famous Pune based motorcycle maker, Bajaj Auto is planning to introduce two new motorcycles in India. One of which will be based on Bajaj V, while the other will be a variant in the Avenger series. As per SIAM, during the first half of the current fiscal year, the company has sold over 71,365 units of its V motorcycles, which results in 11.894 average sales per month. Talking about the Avenger motorcycles, the company has sold over 55,021 of these bikes resulting in 9,170 sales per month.
Pulsar range has been one of the most admired range of motorcycles on sale in India and Pulsar NS motorcycles have garnered decent sales figures for the Pune based manufacturer as the company sold more than 40,000 units of the same in Q2 FY2017-18.
The company has already launched quite a few new bikes this year including the CT100 Electric Start, Platina ES (electric start), Platina Comfortec, Pulsar NS160, NS200 ABS, and Dominar 400 matte black. That said, Bajaj also revealed their plans on its partnership with Triumph Motorcycles for developing new affordable middle-weight motorcycles not just for India but for the world.
