The day starts with an interesting news of a spy shot that reveals Benelli is testing a premium scooter on the roads of Pune city. The Italian brand has not revealed any information till date on the launch of a scooter for the Indian market but now it’s hidden no more. And looks like the brand might have something in the basket for us. The picture reveals the scooter to be a tourer that comes equipped with disc brakes, telescopic forks, large windscreen, alloy wheels and wide and comfortable seats. However it is still a prototype and if launched it will be seen in a whole different production ready avatar.

Also the thing that should be underlined here is that this scooter doesn’t resembles any other scooters offered from Benelli in the international line-up which take us to the point that it might be a whole new scooter range from Benelli.

Talking about the powertrain, nothing concrete can be speculated as of now but it should be a 150cc engine powered scooter which will directly compete against the likes of the Aprilia SR150 which will be shortly launched in the Indian market. Do hit us with your valuable comments on the same in the section below.
