The iconic Italian manufacturer is all set to launch their quarter-litre naked TNT 25 in Indian very soon. Benelli in partnership with DSK has been very successfully spreading their dealerships all across the country to maximise their reach. With the launch of TNT 25, Benelli will be able to turn heads of bunch of buyers in the quarter-litre segment. According to the confirmed reports, DSK-Benelli is all set to launch the new TNT 25 around late November this year, the bike was first unveiled in the Indonesian market and in India it will be priced very competitively and will cost around INR 1.7 lakhs.
TNT 25 is based on a 249.2 cc, single cylinder, Liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that churns out 24.15bhp of power at 9000 rpm and 21Nm of peak torque at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a six speed transmission and it is equipped with a 16.5 litres fuel tank to ensure maximum range on long journeys. The braking power at the front comes from a 280mm Disc, 4-piston caliper brake system and 240mm Disc, 2-piston caliper braking system at the rear. As bike only weighs around 150kgs kerb weight, its power to weight ratio sure will make this bike fun to ride. TNT 25 competes against KTM 200 Duke in every respect but only time will tell if TNT is worthy enough to beat the KTM.
