The current naked Benelli TNT 300 motorcycle has been around for quite some time now. The company is looking forward to introducing a new generation TNT 300 motorcycle at the upcoming EICMA Motor show in Milan, Italy next month. That said, the company is also planning on unveiling a whole new range of engines that are expected to replace the current powerhouses in the entry-level and middle-weight Benelli bikes. As per the details revealed by Dante Bustos, the Regional Marketing Director, Benelli, the new range of parallel-twin engine will be seen in company’s 250cc, 400cc, and 750cc bikes. These bikes are planned to go into production by the year 2019.
The new 250cc engine will also be seen in the Benelli TRK 250cc model which lock horns with already established rivals like Kawasaki Versys-X 250, Suzuki V-Strom 250 and the Honda CRF250L. Apart from these engines, the company is also developing the small capacity engines in the range of 150cc to 300cc but their development is still in a nascent stage presently.
