Super luxury carmaker, Bentley have announced that the company is chasing to set record-breaking sales growth in 2014 after already achieving 23 per cent increase in deliveries in the first half of 2013.
The British marquee registered total sales of 5,254 units in the first six months of 2014, which is up from 4,279 units as compared to the first half of 2013. The health sales growth has been attributed to the brand’s new Flying Spur model that has reportedly, driven the sales up by 61 per cent in China,which saw more than fifth of Bentley’s deliveries.
“There is no question that some markets will remain tough, but we are confident of a good 2014.” remarked Kevin Rose, Bentley board member. The Americas region, which includes, North and South America and the Caribbean remained as Bentley’s largest market, with 1,388 cars delivered. China followed in the second place, while Europe and the Middle East secured the third and fourth places respectively.
