BMW has launched a special edition of the 3-Series, named as the 'Shadow Edition' in India. The Special Edition will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel option, where the 330i M Sport gets a price tag of Rs 47.30 lakh and the 320d Sport is priced at Rs 41.40 lakh (All Prices, Ex Showroom).
Exterior wise, the BMW 3 Series Shadow Edition will come with BMW kidney frame finished in high-gloss black, kidney grille with eight slats finished in high-gloss black, smoked effects on on headlamps and taillamps, M trim car keys, exclusive black chrome-plated tail-pipe finisher and newly designed 18 inch lightweight alloy wheels. Inside, the car gets a new 10.5 inch digital instrument cluster with heads-up display and electronically adjustable front seats along with some M trim bits, which is available on the diesel version of the model such as M Sport leather steering wheel and M door sill finisher. Other features are identical to the Edition Sport like 8.7-inch infotainment display with BMW apps, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and iDrive touch with handwriting recognition, a 205W 9-speaker sound system, two-zone automatic climate control, rear parking camera with front and rear sensors and cruise control.
Under the bonnet, the BMW 3 Series Shadow Edition will will be powered by the same set of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variant will come with 2.0-litre engine that makes 249bhp of maximum power with 350Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel variant is 2.0-litre engine that makes 187bhp of power with 400Nm of top torque. Both the powertrain comes mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
