BMW India has launched the 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport in the country at a price tag of Rs 46.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Christened as BMW 320d GT Sport, the performance focused model is available only in diesel option, powered by a 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder engine. The BMW 320d GT Sport is the base variant of the 3 Series Gran Turismo, as there are other two trims Luxury Line and M Sport variant.
Apart from the suave styling, sporty and luxurious cabin the main USP of the car is the highly powerful engine that churns out 190 bhp of peak power at 4,000 rpm and 400 Nm of impressive torque output between 1,750 rpm and 2,500 rpm. Transmission duty is done by an 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox sending power to the rear wheels. The car gets four different driving modes under the BMW Driving Experience Control system. These modes are Comfort, ECOPRO, Sport and Sport +. BMW says, the 320d GT Sport can accelerate to 100 kmph from standstill position in 7.7 seconds.

In terms of styling, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport appears identical to the other two variants. It takes design cue from the M Sport variant, which is visible through the sanitized aluminum embellished air intakes and signature kidney grille with high gloss black finished 9 slats. Also, it boasts adaptive LED headlamps, front door sills with aluminum inserts, black chrome finished tailpipe, 18-inch alloy wheels etc.
Inside the cabin, the BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo Sport gets a 10.5-inch adaptive high resolution instrument cluster, wood trims coloured in Ash Grain with metal inlays, premium leather upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel with red contrast stitching etc.
