BMW India is high on success lately with a good 2014 year in terms of sales and new launches. With the year coming to an end, BMW Group India announced an overall price increase of up to 5 percent across both the BMW and the MINI product range, effective from 1st January 2015.

BMW currently produces BMW 1 Series, the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 3 Series GT, the BMW 5 Series, the BMW 7 Series, the BMW X1, the BMW X3 and the BMW X5 at the BMW's plant in Chennai. Also, BMW brings BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe, the BMW ActiveHybrid 7, the BMW X6, the BMW Z4, the BMW M3 Sedan, the BMW M4 Coupe, the BMW M5 Sedan and the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, through the CBU route in India.
BMW currently sells the entire portfolio through 37 sales outlets in the Indian market across Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Mangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune, Goa, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Surat, Kochi, Calicut, Jaipur, Udaipur, Raipur, Nagpur, Lucknow and Kanpur.
BMW is eyeing on a fruitful 2015 and has decided to aggressively expand its dealership network to 50 numbers. Apart from the core BMW products, BMW also sells the MINI brand in India through – Bird Automotive (Delhi), Infinity Cars (Mumbai), Navnit Motors (Bangalore) and KUN Exclusive (Hyderabad).
While not much is spoken about the upcoming products in 2015, BMW Group will introduce the BMW i8 in India in 2015 for sure.
