On 25th of July 2013, the cops of Germany pulled over four guys in the town of Eibenstock, Germany. A law enforcement report depicted the vehicle as a convertible, slightly different than any other open tops ever built. But little did they know that the convertible they pulled over, was the modified version of the BMW 3 Series Convertible.
The police also said that there was something different done with the car. Indeed it was, the four guys who were in the car, had converted the beige BMW into a swimming pool, it had almost 2000 liters of water in it. The car came to the officer's attention, when one of the cops saw water spilling out from the sides of the vehicle. When they tried to stop them, the four guys went into a parking lot, stopped the car and ran for the hills. This was according to Der Spiegel, the German news source.
But the cops of Germany are not so forceful, the only thing they did was, blow the tires of the car and disconnect the spark plug wires off the block. The cops still believe that the foursome were driving under the influence of alcohol and may face charges if arrested.
The car was wrapped with synthetic material, wooden barriers and embellished in Hawaii style and the steering wheel was partially done with some brown natural substance. They figured out, how to stay cool in the summer heat, but forgot to fix the velocity part, the car hit a whopping speed of 26 Kmph. It also had only one working gear. Finally the four guys were caught by the police, when asked about the concept of the build by the German newspaper Bild, one of them just gave a standard answer, that it was a dim-witted inspiration.
