BMW has teased the upcoming iNext all-electric SUV. It is expected to launch in 2021 and upon launch, the iNext will become the German luxury car brand’s flagship electric vehicle. BMW has already expressed its desire to become a leader in the world EV market and the upcoming iNext could be an important product in that strategy.

So far, the BMW iNext comes based on the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept. This electric SUV will be introduced to the world alongside the i5 electric sedan that will be based on the BMW i Vision Dynamics concept. While further details about the design, features, technology and specification of the BMW iNext are yet to be disclosed, the brand has cleared that the iNext electric SUV will come offering a range of at least around 700 kilometre.

The BMW iNext electric SUV will be based on a modular platform that will spawn out more zero emission pure electric vehicles in future as part of the brand’s strategy to take leading spot in the world EV market in next decade.

Interestingly, BMW is not the only automobile giant that is working on electric mobility solutions. Several other car brands like Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Volvo too are on the same path. What’s more interesting is that all these car brands are readying their electric vehicles for the global market keeping an eye to the next decade.
