BMW introduces Individual 7 Series The Next 100 Years

The German luxury car maker, BMW has introduced a new anniversary edition 7 Series model to commemorate its centenary. Christened as “BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS”, it will come loaded up with exclusive features with handcrafted “THE NEXT 100 YEARS” badge on the B pillar, above the glove compartment on the passenger side, as well as the front and rear seat headrests. Not only this, to make it more exclusive the brand has limited 100 centennial models worldwide. You will also find an inscription “1 of 100” just in front of the shifter.

BMW has partnered with Montblanc to create a special fountain pen that will be delivered to its worthy BMW Individual 7 Series customer. In collaboration with BMW’s design department, Montblanc has now developed this unique fountain pen, which is limited to 100 pieces and handed to every owner of the new BMW Individual 7 Series THE NEXT 100 YEARS model.

The exterior styling is similar to the standard 7 Series model while the interior of the BMW Individual M760Li xDrive features BMW Individual Full Merino leather in Smoke White BMW Head-Up Display, Surround-view, Sky Lounge Panoramic glass sunroof, front and rear seat ventilation, the Heat Comfort package and the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system. It also gets some other standard features like Ambient Lighting, Welcome Light Carpet, the Executive Lounge, with a two-seat configuration for maximum comfort and Rear-seat entertainment Experience with BMW Touch Command features as standard on this model.

Mechanically, the 7 Series will be available in three engine options, where the top-ranging M760Li xDrive is power packed with a 6.6-litre M Performance TwinPower Turbo 12-cylinder engine that can crank out an output of 602bhp @ 5,500rpm and peak torque of 800Nm from as low down as 1,500rpm. It can accelerate from 0 – 100kmph in just 3.7 seconds before hitting a governed top speed of 250kmph.
