The Bavarian automaker, BMW, is all-set to launch the M6 Gran Coupe in India tomorrow. The M6 is the company's mightiest version from its M series lineup, based on company's 6-Series coupe model. BMW first showcased the M6 Gran Coupe at 2014 Auto Expo India alongside the i8 plug-in hybrid sports car (Read here) and will accompany be sold alongside the M5 in BMW outlets from tomorrow.

The BMW M6 Gran Coupe is a 4-door coupe model which is made to perform like an earth-shattering machine, or rather a wolf in sheep's clothing in more simple words. The M6 is powered by a mammoth sized 4.4-litre bi-turbo petrol engine that cranks out 560 BHP between 6000 and 7000 RPM and 680 Nm torque from 1500-5750 RPM. Transmission duty gets done by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox that delivers power to the rear wheels. The car is enough potent to hit 0-100 kmph mark in just 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph (electronically controlled).

BMW M6 Gran Coupe will compete against the likes of Audi RS7 in our country and will reach to our shores via completely built-up (CBU) route. Therefore, its likely to cost above the M5 with an expected price tag of around Rs. 1.20 crores (ex-showroom, Delhi).
