The German automaker launched the new G 310 R and G 310 GS in the Indian market a few months back. But seeing the high price tag, the motorcycles failed to generate the buzz expected. Now the company is offering a huge discount up to Rs 40,000 on both the bikes, depending on the dealership location. The discount is valid only till December 31st this year. The company is also offering a low-interest finance scheme on the purchase of both the bikes.
In Delhi, the bikes are now available at a discount of Rs 25,000, while the Mumbai discount is higher at Rs 40,000. The icing on the cake is the 3.10 percent interest rate finance scheme, which should attract a good number of buyers.
Both the bikes come powered sharing the same 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 33bhp of power and 28Nm of torque. Also, the bikes share the same 6-speed transmission.
The BMW G 310 GS has no technical competition in its price segment, while its naked sibling competes with a number of bikes such as KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Z250 and the Benelli TNT300.
