For 2015, BMW has decided to go ahead with its sports-tourer - the K1300S - which makes us believe that BMW is finding it to be a financially viable option. The new K1300S will however be a special edition motorcycle which also gives us a thought it might be phased out sometime in the future. The 2015 version flaunts not only a facelift edition, but also a number of High Performance parts which make is actually a performance powerhouse. High Performance wheels and a standard Akrapovic exhaust will complement the latest edition of the K1300S.
Like the present version, it will be powered by an inline-four cylinder(which is denoted by the prefix K), 1293cc engine. The all-new front suspension consists of a duo lever system and a paralever rear with single-sided cast aluminum swingarm. The bike will come to a standstill with help of twin 320mm discs with four-piston calipers mounted on the front wheel while a single 265mm disc with a two-piston floating caliper will help the rear wheel stop.
The Motorsport will be offered in some new shades like Black Storm Metallic, Light White and Lupine Blue Metallic with an adequate amount of red stripes.
The new K1300S Motorsport will be available from August 1st onwards with a price tag of €19,950 (Rs 16.25 lakhs approx).
