Tata has released the Tata Harrier AT in three variants, the XMA costing Rs 16.25 lakhs, the XZA at Rs 18.80 lakhs, and the XZA+ at Rs 19.99 lakhs. The top-end option comes with a Dark Edition priced at Rs 20.25 lakhs. This variant gets the panoramic sunroof as one of its stellar features.
Some of the other features present in the top-spec version are a 6-way adjustable electric driver’s seat, diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels, a Calypso Red colour option, and auto-dimming interior rearview mirror.
Besides the Calypso Red option, the 2020 Harrier AT comes in a range of colours such as Orcus White, Calisto Copper, Telesto Grey, Thermisto Gold, and Ariel Silver. Tata throws in a couple of dual-tone offers, as well with the Orcus White and Calisto Copper models available with a black roof.
The Tata Harrier AT features new ORVMs to improve the visibility. The ESP is also available on all the trims now. Tata has always prided on the safety features it provides on its vehicles. Apart from the dual airbags, the 2020 Tata Harrier AT gets ABS and EBD. The top-spec variants get six airbags along with other safety features like Hill Start and Descent Control along with traction control.
With Tata launching the BS6-compliant SUV, the bookings have commenced for the same. Interested buyers can book their Harrier AT by paying Rs 30,000. One expects the 2020 Tata Harrier AT to compete with the MG Hector, Kia Seltos, and the Mahindra XUV500. The second-gen Hyundai Creta can also offer the required competition. When launched initially, the SUV could not make much of an impression. Tata is hoping that the updated version will heat up the competition.
