Royal Enfield is all set to launch the BS 6 certified Classic 350 tomorrow in the Indian market. However, prior to the official launch, a Zigwheels report has stated that BS 6 compliant Royal Enfield Classic 350 price could start at Rs 1.66 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, India). The report further suggests that the bikemaker has increased the price of the BS6 model by Rs 14,000 as compared to the BS4 model, which is priced at Rs 1.52 Lakhs (ex. Showroom, India).
The dealer dispatch of BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 has already begun and several units have been spotted at various dealerships. The company has equipped the motorcycle with fuel injection in order to make it compliant for BS 6 emission norms. The inclusion of fuel injection can be testified from the addition of a metal plate at the place of carburettor while an oxygen sensor can also be seen at the exhaust header stating it is a closed-loop fuel injection system. RE has also added a catalytic converter on the exhaust downtube for purifying the tailpipe emissions.
It has also been learned that a few variants of BS6 Royal Enfield Classic 350 will ride on alloy wheels for the first time. In all likelihood, the Gunmetal Grey variant would have alloy wheels as standard. The other variants such as Signals Edition would continue to be offered with wire-spoke wheels. The speculations are also rife that Royal Enfield with introducing two new color schemes with the BS6 certified Classic 350 and one of them, the purported range-topping model, will be priced at Rs 1.79 Lakhs (Ex.
