CFMoto - the Hangzhou based motorcycle manufacturer has confirmed its official debut in the Indian market in the month of July, this year. The brand will launch 4 new motorcycles on its debut and all the CFMoto bike will be made available to the Indian buyers through Bengaluru-based AMW Motorcycles. CFMoto has earlier confirmed that they will introduce its naked roadster series, adventure-tourers and grand-tourers which include - 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT.
The motorcycles will be imported in India as CKD (completely knocked down) units and AMW Motorcycles has been assigned to locally assembled the bikes at its Bengaluru based facility. The CFMoto 300NK - a naked roadster - is the most affordable offering out of the lot. The 300NK is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 292.4 cc DOHC motor. The motor is capable of churning out 33.5 bhp of peak power at 7,200 rpm and 20.5 Nm of peak torque at 8,800 rpm. The motor is linked to a 6-speed gearbox and tips the scale at 151 kg.
The CFMoto 300NK also sports a coloured TFT instrument screen, LED headlamps and Upside Down forks at the front. The naked roadster also features two riding modes, a first in the segment - Rain and Sports. The motorcycle will lock horns with Bajaj Dominar 400, BMW G310R and KTM 200 Duke. Speaking of the looks, the 300NK sports muscular fuel tank with shrouds, sharp tail, exposed frame, star-shaped alloy wheels, engine cowl and an eye-catching headlamp design that consists of LED DRLs.
A few days back, CFMoto released a teaser video of its quarter-litre motorcycle - the 250SR. The fully-faired motorcycle will be launched in India by early 2020. The AMW Motorcycles is planning to begin the production of the bikes with 10,000 units. CFMoto is expected to launch the bikes with competitive pricing in the Indian market.
