The upcoming beast from Chevrolet, the 2015 Corvette Z06 came naked to the world when the pictures were leaked online. The car will be powered by a supercharged V8 and will have humongous output of 620 hp.
Known of its muscle power, the Corvette Z06 is now more muscular than ever and carbon fiber gets etched upon the car on various places. Even the interior of the car has received dash of carbon fiber to make it look as amazing it could get. The interiors look similar to the 2014 Corvette Stingray, excluding the flat bottom steering wheel.
The exterior of the car has got a curvy, yet amazing bodyline. The Corvette is a sign of power and Chevrolet has left no stones unturned to make the vehicle look anything less.
The engine is a master of engineering with 7.2 liter of displacement and made in a V formation with 8 cylinders working relentlessly to produce maximum power of 620 bhp, which is 115 hp more than the outgoing Z06!
General Motors says that the 2014 Corvette would be the most track-capable Corvette ever and is designed to replicate the performance of the Supercars by tweaking the powertrain, chassis and aerodynamic features.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corevette will also come bolted with an optional performance data recorder. The data recorder was been jointly developed with Cosworth and showcased at the CES. The system features a 720p high-definition camera located in the windshield header, a cabin mounted microphone and a GPS receiver which can work five time quicker than the conventional navigation system.
