General Motors India have rolled out a new limited edition model of the Chevrolet Beat and Sail hatchback to mark its partnership with popular English football club Manchester United. The Chevrolet Beat and Sail hatchback Manchester United Editions will be built and sold in limited quantities in the country and will demand a premium of Rs 69,000 over the original versions.
The two hatchbacks draped in the exclusive Manchester United livery kits were designed at the company’s Technical Center India in Bangalore on popular customer demand and were first seen at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show. The limited edition models bring to the table new set of alloy wheels, special seat covers, new music system, illuminated sill plates, OSRVMs with blinkers, roof rails and exclusive Manchester United decals and badging.
The limited edition Manchester United package is only being offered on the LS variant in the popular Super Red colour in both petrol and diesel guise. The two hatchbacks celebrate the kick-off of the seven-year shirt sponsorship between Chevrolet and the English football club.
