General Motors India have announced the launch of an industry-first customer care initiative called “Chevrolet Complete Care’ programme, which is aimed at ensuring an unique ownership experience with assured low cost of maintenance for Chevrolet customers.
Under the initiative, General Motors India will be offering “complete-peace-of-mind’ services such as Exclusive Warranty packages, Chevrolet U-First Customer Centric Programs and Apps, assured low cost of maintenance and a round-the-clock 24X7 Roadside Assistance Program, which is being offered free of cost for the first three years with all new car purchase. The roadside assistance program can be availed by existing customers as well, at a nominal cost, provided the car is less than five years old. Furthermore, General Motors via the ‘Chevrolet Promise’ initiative, which is a part of the ‘Chevrolet Complete Care Programme’ will refund any excess periodic or schedule maintenance cost at the end of the 3 years or 45,000kms, whichever is earlier vis-à-vis the committed periodic maintenance cost to the customer at the time of sale of the car. The said Programme is valid for the Chevrolet Spark, Beat, Sail hatchback, Sail sedan and the Cruze.
In addition to the standard warranty of 3 years or 1,00,000km, owners will also be able to extend the warranty of their vehicles by up to two more years or up till 1,50,000km at a nominal cost. Customers will be given warranty on spare parts and accessories for the first year or 20,000km, while the round-the-clock assistance will be valid in case of a vehicle breakdown or accident for period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Women customers on the other hand, will also be offered free pick-up and drop-of services for their Chevrolet branded cars by authorised workshops. Lastly, owners can make use of the Chevrolet Service Estimator Online tool to calculate periodic service costs and the ‘MyChevroletIndia’ mobile app to locate and contact the nearest authorised Chevrolet service station.
