General Motors India is celebrating the first anniversary of its Chevrolet Enjoy MPV that was launched in the country back in May 2013. To mark the occasion, the U.S-based automaker has launched the 1st Anniversary Edition of its people carrier that boasts of a number of exteriors and interiors styling updates and can be had in either seven or eight seating option.

On the outside, the 1st Anniversary Edition of the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV gets exclusive badging, new roof rails, side body decals, OSRVM blinkers and a new chrome kit for the headlamps, tail lamps, door handles, tailgate and the license plate. On the inside, the dashboard gets wooden inserts for a more sporty look. The mechanical bits, remain unchanged. General Motors India have not yet revealed the pricing of its 1st Anniversary Edition of the Enjoy MPV. But we reckon, it will be priced slightly over the standard model.

As a refresher, the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is being powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged DOHC diesel engine that is rated at 74.8PS and a 1.4-litre SMARTECH petrol engine that is rated at 100.2PS. The MPV is offered in India in a choice of six exterior colour options: Velvet Red, Candy White, Switchblade Silver, Seadrift Grey, Caviar Black and Linen Beige. The model is offered with a standard warranty of 1,00,000 km or three years, whichever is earlier.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr Arvind Saxena, president and managing director of General Motors India said, “Chevrolet Enjoy has completed a very successful ‘Year of Enjoyment’ on Indian roads. It had given our customers a spacious multi-purpose vehicles and a luxurious drive that is enabling them to enjoy life with their families and friends. Since its launch in May 2013, the Enjoy has sold close to 20,000 units. It has taken on the tougher competition in the newly created MPV B-segment.”
