Chevrolet introduces year ending offers on its product range – November 2016

Snapshot: Chevrolet is the first first automobile company to partner with an e-commerce platform to create a stronger presence in this format and reach out to a larger consumer base.

Chevrolet India announced a year-end offering special discounts across its product line. The offering is a  part of retail campaign, where it is available of products like Beat, Enjoy, Cruze and Trailblazer. Moreover, Chevrolet is encouraging customers to book a test drive online as per their convenient date, time and location on Amazon India.

This is the first time that an automobile company has partnered with an e-commerce platform to create a stronger presence in this format and reach out to a larger consumer base. The online booking will go live from November 16th on the Amazon India website and app. Initially, the service will be offered in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai, followed by other cities on the basis of consumer response.

Speaking on this, Jack Uppal, Vice President Marketing & Customer Experience, GM India said, “We are a brand with a clear focus on our customers, where safety, quality and world-class experience are natural elements in our campaigns. We wanted to go that extra mile to delight our customers with this year-end campaign. The new campaign is in sync with Chevrolet’s promise to provide customized solution to customers.”

Further, he said, “We believe that the shopping experience will rapidly move into the digital and mobile space and we will continue to evaluate digital and mobile options to enhance both buying and after sales experiences in the customer journey.”

The 45 days year-end retail campaign has gone live from November 10th for the customers to avail amazing deals on the Chevrolet’s product portfolio. The company has reiterated its commitment by bringing the year end offers in the month of November instead of December.  Its and noticeable response to the changing trends and customer demand in  the country. The company has also rolled out a multi-media campaign on mobile and digital media as well.
