If this was not enough, a latest event has taken everyone with shock and specially the employees of a BMW dealership who sold a BMW 7-series to a crazy lady.
In one of its kind incident, a Chinese woman named Ms. Li purchased the flagship BMW 7-series in the city of Zhengzhou by paying cash in small denomination. How small you will ask? Well, the 1.1 million Yuan sedan was purchased by paying 1 lakh yuan in cash with all the cash in 1 yuan notes and the rest of the 1 million yuan was paid with a credit card.
The brand new BMW 730Li for which was purchased with part cash caused a lot of trouble for the employees. The notes were tied in 1yuan bundles which weighed over 100 kgs. 20 employees from the dealership sat for 6 hours to count all the notes. For your information 1 lakh yuan equals Rs 10.2 lakh and 1 million yuan about Rs 1 crore.
Ms. Li owns a food retail business in the capital of Henan province in China. Years of work forced her to collect small denomination note, which she said was a problem for her. And the purchase of the BMW 7-series has not only fulfilled her wish of owning a BMW but also helped her get rid of all this 100kg worth of million yuan notes.
