Reportedly, Christian Bale has made a rational and quite an unusual reason for quitting the role of Enzo Ferrari in the upcoming biopic of the same name. The "Dark Knight trilogy" and "American Psycho" star Christian Bale, claimed he would be unable to safely gain the weight for the Michael Mann project to be shot this spring, according to Variety.
Christian Bale was to play Ferrari, the script is based on a book written by famous automotive journalist Brock Yates, "Enzo Ferrari, The Man, The Cars, The Races." A dark year for the company when 11 people died during an accident involving one of the company's race cars during the 1957 Mille Miglia, the race held in Italy on public roads. And this crash costed the cancelation of the Mille Miglia entirely. Though the director, Michael Mann now has to scramble to find a new lead actor.
